Pastor, Rev. Gail M. Joyner, O.S.L.
I am honored to be appointed to Florala Methodist Church. As an ordained Deacon, I am devoted to serving God in pastoral ministry, finding ways to encourage and inspire people to develop a closer relationship with Jesus. I am a retired Air Force veteran where my first assignment was at nearby Eglin AFB. I have served churches in Illinois, Georgia, and Alabama. My passion is community service, and I have managed an interfaith food closet and resale store, hoping to continue that involvement in the Florala community. Families are important to me, and I wish to develop a family friendly environment where all ages can grow and experience God’s saving grace. My hobbies are gardening, sewing, and crocheting. My husband Jack and I have 5 adult children, 12 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. We currently share our home with 2 miniature dachshunds, Mr. Peanut and Dapper Dan.
